Book review & suggestions

Bootmaker To The Nation: an historical fiction covering the period from  just before to just after the War for Independence.
I would recommend using this book as a resource for the study of
the Revolutionary War
in American History.  - Julie

Lies in the textbooks
: search goolge videos to find Dr. Kent Hovind's series of earth science and physical science lectures. "The truth about evolution" is very informative, a great "alternative" geography course that doesn't lie in order to present hypothesis and conjecture as truth and fact.

The Creature From Jekyll Island is a chronicle of the founding of the Federal Reserve.
The book is a great source of economic study of the nation's monetary and banking system and the politics behind it. - MHM

mises.org : website of the Von Mises Institute. Tremendous resource for government, economics, money and banking. Recommended reading that can be purchased through Von Mises: What Government Has Done to Our Money-Rothbard; Case Against the Fed-Rothbard; The Politically Incorrect Guide to American History-Woods; The Law-Bastiate; The Causes of The Economic Crisis-Von Mises; and more. All of these books relatively short and easy to read and understand without prior knowledge of the subjet, with the possible exception of  The Causes of The Economic Crisis. There are other tremendous works available for the older and more interested reader.  - MHM
