Director's Notes...

   Go ahead– just be free. Be free to be the parent/teacher in your children’s lives. God in his infinite wisdom has given you the freedom to train up your children. He didn’t tell you to just to get them to the age where they could communicate, walk, go to the bathroom, dress themselves, etc. and then you wouldn’t be able to continue the training process. It would be time for "THE EXPERTS" to take over. Now hold it right there! You should be the one that knows more about your children than anybody else  because you should be the one spending more time with them. You should know their strengths and weaknesses. You should know when they are playing you and when they are shooting you straight, what they know and don’t know. As far as being an "expert" – that should be you! Maybe you aren’t the expert on all the other children, but you should be as far as your own children are concerned. God  said YOU train your children. You  should believe in yourself as much as God believes in you! While He has given us instructions in this endeavor, he allows us to choose what we will do with our own. So now here you are either contemplating teaching at home or already having decided to do so. What to do now you ask? Well, that’s the great thing! You can do anything! Where do you start? Right where you are. No need to panic. Take it slow. The goal is to teach your child after you. Does you child know as much as you? Start there. Teach them what you know - exhaust all your knowledge and resources. Teach them to think, to love knowledge, to be independent, to live life without you. After all, that is the ultimate goal - to live successfully without you the parent. The good news is that you can do it because God believes in you and you can agree with God!
